Common questions and fixes for AppSumo lifetime deal (LTD) codes and licences.
My code will not redeem, or says it is already redeemed
Redeem your code at seobetter.com/redeem by entering the code and your email.
- Typo or spacing: copy the code straight from AppSumo rather than typing it, and remove any leading or trailing spaces.
- Already redeemed: each code can only be redeemed once. If it says already redeemed, check the email address you used the first time. The licence key was sent there and you can re-activate with it. If you never received a key, contact support with your AppSumo order number.
- Wrong page: codes are redeemed on our site at seobetter.com/redeem, not inside WordPress. Inside WordPress you activate the resulting licence key, not the AppSumo code.
I only got Tier 1 after redeeming several codes
Your tier is set by how many codes are redeemed under the same email. If you redeemed codes under different emails, you get multiple separate Tier 1 licences instead of one higher tier.
The fix: redeem every code with the same email address. If codes are already split across different emails, contact support with your AppSumo order numbers and we will consolidate them onto one email so they stack correctly. See how to stack AppSumo codes for how stacking works.
Refunds (the 60-day window)
AppSumo gives you a 60-day refund window. If you refund, the licence key tied to that code is revoked and SEOBetter returns to the free plan on that site. If you refund one code out of a stack, your tier drops to match the codes you keep.
Moving my licence to another site
Your licence is tied to a site count set by your tier, not to one fixed URL. To move a licence from one site to another:
- On the old site, go to SEOBetter > Settings > License and click Deactivate.
- On the new site, paste the same licence key and click Activate.
This frees the seat on the old site and uses it on the new one, so you stay within your tier's site allowance.
